INCENDIUM LLC - OPUS COMICS

CLIENT: Incendium

CHALLENGE: Off Beat Enterprises embarked on a creative partnership with Incendium in the year 2016 after an Iron Maiden show. Incendium CEO Llexi Leon was the Creative Director of Iron Maiden at the time and managed/built the Mobile Game Legacy of the Beast (a mobile RPG game weaving the songs lyrics, albums, and titles into a narrative and allowing you to collect all the Eddies!). He had been looking for a licensee to manage collectibles for the game and make it a bit more stylized to the game rather than classic (which is what most licenses were looking for), so Off Beat pitched the idea of running them together.

SOLUTION: Off Beat Enterprises devised a comprehensive strategy that included an array of promotional and branding initiatives for Incendium. This grew from idea to real very quickly. After building out the budgets, mock product lines, and many, many, presentations, the team of Llexi Leon and Blake took it to San Diego Comic Con where Blake had set up meetings with potential distributors. After careful consideration based on the early commitments from Hot Topic and Entertainment Earth, Iron Maiden’s parent company hired Incendium (with Blake managing the projects), to run a new entity they created internally for us called Maiden Collectibles.
Thus a Partnership was born! A rebirth of Incendium into a dynamic company specializing in licensed merchandise and collectibles. Soon after the lines began to hit stores, the next goal was to obtain more licenses, and establish Incendium as a household brand, build it’s mythos, and create a branding house for entertainment and music IP, enhance brand recognition, and establish a strong presence in the highly competitive collectible market. The idea being a lid for every pot so to speak when it comes to making items in each category.
